Just in case this all seems new to you…

Just in case this all seems new to you…it’s not my first splash.

I have always had a flare for fashion and have been dressing adults since I was at least ten.  This life long obsession, or should I say, love affair with clothing led me to a degree in fashion merchandising and then to my beloved, Gypsy . I opened my own brick and mortar boutique in August of 2009, but sadly after several successful and might I add; wonderfully magical years in business, I closed her doors.

Life, has a way of sometimes pushing us off the beaten path and then leaving us standing there with our mouths gaped open and no map. If you’ve ever been there you understand the analogy, and if you haven’t…well, here’s your warning. Life shoves everyone…at least once.

After closing, I continued with small projects here and there. I directed photoshoots, had a few popup shops, and I even had a small fashion line startup, but nothing filled the Gypsy void.  Or was going to!

There are a lot of things I’m good at, but I’m great at Gypsy. Fashion has and will always be a driving factor in my life, my true north. I thrive in a retail fashion environment, and I knew until I jumped back in those waters I’d never be satisfied doing anything else. So, last spring I decided it was time to make another splash and reactivate the Gypsy website.

I may not always be in the fashion waters up to my neck but from now on I’ve decided I’ll always have my toes dangling in over the edge.
